Metiquity Ventures Leads Pre-Seed Investment in Bidaya AI to Transform Proposal Automation for AEC Firms

Calgary, AB – October, 20, 2025 — Metiquity Ventures announced today that it led an $840,000 pre-seed investment in Bidaya AI, which closed in the spring of 2025. The Calgary- based company is pioneering an artificial intelligence platform that helps architecture, engineering, and consulting (AEC) firms discover and secure new business more efficiently. The round also included participation from LOI Venture (co-founded by Hootsuite founder Ryan Holmes) and angel investors.

Bidaya AI is tackling one of the AEC industry’s biggest inefficiencies—the fragmented process of finding and responding to competitive requests for proposals (RFPs). Its vertical AI platform integrates project discovery, automated proposal drafting, and structured knowledge management into a single workflow embedded directly in Microsoft Word, the core authoring tool used by AEC professionals. The result is faster, more accurate, and more collaborative proposal development with improved compliance and institutional knowledge reuse.
